BHI Judaica Collection

Baltimore Hebrew Institute Judaica Collection

Following the integration of Baltimore Hebrew University’s graduate programs into Towson University, the Cook library became home to the largest Judaica book collection in the Southeast.  The former Joseph Meyerhoff library now occupies a signature space on the second floor, and it is available to over 22,000 students and faculty, as well as to community members.  The collection continues to grow through acquisitions and donations, and it includes oral histories, rare volumes of Talmud and sacred texts, modern media, and the latest scholarly journals.  The Baltimore Hebrew Institute Judaica collection is truly the crown jewel of the distinguished Judaic studies programs offered at Towson University.  Please help us preserve and enhance this superb facility.

Donors interested in discussing specific naming opportunities for gifts greater than $2500 may contact Jill Max at 410-704-7120.
