Honor the Fallen, Support a Legacy
The 1st Annual Fallen Tiger Fitness Challenge is a stadium-venue CrossFit competition taking place at Johnny Unitas Stadium on July 22, 2017. This event is a one day competition aiming to raise money and awareness for the Major Robert Marchanti Endowed Scholarship—a Towson Athletics scholarship that honors and memorializes the duty and discipline displayed by Maj. Marchanti.
Towson Athletics has partnered with CrossFit WSA to create a Hero Wod—a workout named after Heroes who have given their lives in the line of duty—that encapsulates a few of Bob’s favorite movements. The track inside Johnny Unitas Stadium will be transformed into a festival open to competitors and the general public. Beer, food, and vendors will be available for non-competitors. Entry onto the track is FREE for non-competitors; a donation to support the Major Robert Marchanti Endowed Scholarship is encouraged.
Must be 18 or older to compete. Workout to be announced at a later time. Adaptive athletes are welcome.
Competitor Cost: $50.00 (all competitors will receive event T-Shirt)
